Pragelato Sestriere Italy

With no expectation, my partner and I had the best vacation ever at the Club Med Pragelato all thanks to our snowboarding instructor Yuri. He is kind, patient, warm-hearted and professional.

Yuri showed us all the black diamond slopes at the Italian Alps and guided us all the way to the French side. He helped us to organize and reserve table for lunch and hot dishes awaits as soon as we arrived at the restaurants.

We both improved a lot on the snowboarding skills. Yuri always counted the people whenever we took a chairlift so that no one would be left behind.

The food at the club med is also another wonderful surprise. The menu changed every night for the dinner.

The only improvement for club med would be: please upgrade your pillows in the rooms. They’re too worn-out and not comfortable.

We’ll definitely would recommend this trip to all our friends and look forward to returning for another visit.

Ski resort is good, food is great. The only bad moment for us was with the luggage which they forgot outside for a night (was promised to pick up our luggage from outside the house to bring it to the main building at 10pm, but it was there for the whole night, it was -5 and snowing), so when check-out at 6 am we had to bring all 5 pcs of our luggage through the villlage by ourselves. And at 6 am the road was still covered in snow. With 2 small kids it was not a nice adventure… Also the room service was not perfect ( a lot of dust under the beds). Still rooms are good size, warm, just I would add a mirror inside the wardrobe. The main restaurant (buffer) was perfect any time. Loved the food

I was a bit worried from reading some negative reviews but we honestly didnt experience any of those negativities. The staff were welcoming, bags delivered to your door and collected when leaving. The food was fantastic and the restaurant was kept clean throughout service. Plenty of hand sanitiser stations for use and clean bathrooms. The slope down to the hotel was open so it was easy to get straight out to the slopes via the bubble (right outside the hotel) and ski back in. It was great to have use of mountain restaurants to make a change for a lunch location if you wanted. We ate out at La Trattoria one night which was a nice change from buffet style, the menu was delicious but very limited. It was a different experience having to walk outside to get from rooms to the main area, snow sturdy shoes a must, but there is a cloakroom in reception if you dont want to carry coats etc once in the main area. It was also a welcome re-fresh before hitting bed! The lounge area has plenty of seating, some of it a bit tired and could do with some cushion re-stuffing but with a group of 15 we managed to shift things around! The only real negative about the main area is that there is no escape from the noise & children so we ended up sitting in the lobby area a few times where you could still hear the music blaring but you didnt have to shout at each other! All in all another lovely Club Med holiday.

Amazing hotel , the service is excellent , the food amazing, and the general atmosphere is so much fun,

we had great snowboard experience thanks to the amazing slopes , views and the amazing snow conditions.

I took a group with the guide Miki Marta - it was an amazing experience, Miki is super professional gives great tips and took us snowboarding in interesting places and slopes and along the way gave us all the time tips and tricks.
Especially enjoyed the day trip he took us snowboarding from Italy all the way to France. This was amazing
