Cancún Exclusive Space Mexico

My son and I were at club med Cancun for a week mid August. The best part were our two excursions- swimming with the whale sharks and lunch at isla mujeres was epic- one of the best days ever!
Emilia also helped us get a private taxi to go to 4 cenotes one day. This was also an incredible day.

I was eaten alive by sand flies on the beach- the infirmary gave me 2 antihistamine pills- the store had only caladryl for $50US (its about $3 in the states.) I was miserable itchy and covered in oozing bug bites- Emilia ordered me a topical that arrived the same day and I had no issues the rest of the stay.
We also had an issue with never receiving our photos and videos from the whale shark guide, David. It took us both many emails over several days but she helped me get our media. Emilia just went above and beyond every step of the way and made our vacation 5 stars!

We loved Estancia- we ate brunch there every day (French toast, avocado toast, bagel with lox) the best capacinos! And it is an Argentinian steakhouse in the evenings. Steak for dinner every night with an ocean view is epic!

The cons-
Our stay in August meant sargassum seaweed all over the beach- they do rake it on one side in the mornings so the beach is nice for a few hours.
This is a cancun issue not club med issue.
Maybe it’s a global warming issue?

Our room had a water leak, the next day our wrist bands didn’t work so we could not get into our room. The day after that someone tried to break in and the deadbolt was broken- but they sent someone to check on us right away and fixed the door. The thermostat only goes to 20 Celsius which didn’t seem cold enough to sleep comfortably and I am cold natured… all that said, you don’t come to club med for the rooms…

The activities were endless and my teenager had a blast! The location is great- just 15 minutes from the airport. The GOs are amazing. The guests fantastic and kind.
I’ve never played so much pickleball. Family bonding time was perfect.
Highly recommend visiting once renovations are complete and not in August.

Location was excellent, atmosphere was welcoming. Rooms are clean and very nice. People were very nice and friendly. The amenities were very good. Quiet and value for money. The kids club was fantastic for our children.

We spent 7 days at Club Med Cancún and stayed in the Jade section. The resort is undergoing major construction, but this did not impact our stay. Actually, as the resort is operating at reduced capacity, it felt very zen and peaceful.

The Jade is a unique place, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Jose Luis, the manager, and his concierge team were so welcoming and attentive. The staff at the bar was simply exceptional. They all knew our names and prepared our drinks without us even having to ask. It was also great to see Daniel again, whom we already knew. Absolutely everyone was lovely. The breakfast on the terrace feels like something you would find in a fancy place in Miami :) The avocado toast with poached egg prepared by Sylvia was a particular highlight.

Floriane, the resort manager who is currently replacing the official manager, is professional, friendly, and always around, making sure everything runs smoothly and answering questions. Generally speaking, the GE and GO staff are welcoming and friendly.

I also took lots of fitness classes with Samantha, the GO Fitness instructor. She was incredibly motivating and friendly, and she always gave 100%. On the last day, they organised a HYROX event, which was definitely the highlight of the stay! Running in the morning was also a big hit.

Our 10-day vacation at Jade Exclusive Collection was spectacular, largely due to the outstanding service from every team member: Jose Luis, Jade, Daniel, Erik & David. From the moment we arrived, they set the tone for a perfect stay. Their professionalism, warmth, and efficiency were remarkable; every question we had was answered quickly and thoroughly, making us feel incredibly well-cared for and valued.
The impeccable service extended wonderfully to the bar team (big thank you to Marcos, Ademir, Jesus, Daniel, Eliceo, Erasmo, Jamie), who consistently crafted great drinks with a friendly smile, making every visit a pleasure. This incredible level of service was also consistently found in all restaurants, where the food was truly excellent. While housekeeping kept our rooms spotlessly clean, they are noticeably outdated and would benefit from renovation. Despite this, the overall kindness and responsiveness of the team ensured a seamless and enjoyable experience.
This beautiful resort, with its wide array of sports offerings, truly excels in hospitality. We left refreshed and grateful for the dedicated team, including a special thank you to Emilia from the Excursion team who meticulously organized our 2 amazing excursions, the fitness team, Samantha and Nelson, and the pickleball team, Julio and Jorge, who made our getaway unforgettable. Highly recommended!

After a missed cruise we decided to head back to one of our favorite spots... Club Med Cancun. The weather, food, staff and entertainment were wonderful as always!

The Jade staff are
amazing and I can't thank them enough for always welcoming us. When a staff member stops what he was doing to give us a hug after not seeing us for over a year you know you're lucky to made such a wonderful connection.

The only downside to our stay was the price for the room not knowing in advance that a lot of amenities were closed. I also feel that room 9205 is in need of updating. In the future we will only be booking the ocean view in Jade.
