Super all-inclusive in Cancun, with plenty of activities

5/55/5 • 15/10/2025

Our first time in a ClubMed was NOT a disappointment. First of all, booking was very smooth even though they only had the family deluxe room for the 5 days we wanted to book for. By calling them, they managed to find us a a better suited room for us (we didn't want to pay the family room).

From checking in to checking out, everything was taken care of. Although there is only three restaurants and 1 non included restaurant, for 5 days, we didn't feel as though it lacked variety. The buffet has variations everyday and the à la carte restaurants have enough choices for you to want to go back. Service is 10/10 from restaurants to pool service to bar service. Essential information is on their app or their in-room tablet. You can ask for additionnal services for your room through the app.

Their activity program, shows and sports program leaves you no place to get bored: archery, bocce, trapeze, mini-golf, pickeball, snorkeling, kayak, paddleboard, aquafitness, dance classes, hiit classes, yoga classes, morning run or walk, gym, beach, pool, waterpark, etc. It was low season so the first come first serve was certainly not an issue.

There was a little of sargasse but compared to what I read online, they took care of cleaning the beach everyday. The beach was still beautiful and you can swim around some places where there is less seaweed.

Also, big shout out to Chava, a GO we bonded with. He's fluent in english, french and spanish (his native langage) We were surprised by the clubmed culture where the GO mixes a lot of the GM (clients), but we really got to know a lot of their job and lives there.

Price wise, we got a last minute discount. I would say that the price range compares to the other 5 star all-inclusive or an even better price for this kind of service and activity programs.

We love the trapeze team a lot especially Silver, Sara & Remy. They are very accommodating and super knowledgeable. We have been coming 2 years! And will keep coming since my kids love the trapeze team. Kudos team Silver, Remi & Sara - they make a great team.

great resort. great staff.

5/55/5 • 14/10/2025

great rooms, grounds, and amenities obviously are what you expect with this resort, but the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. at the main desk Chrislove, Sandra and Michelle were welcoming and answered all our questions throughout the stay. but all of the various support staff members were important as well... every cleaning staff member, waiter, bar tender, life guard, Mini club staff member, etc. all combined to make our time at the resort fantastic and made us feel at home.
Location of Club Med Cancun cannot be beat. it's a very large campus with lots to do and coastline, but also it's extremely close to the airport. I'm not even sure it was a 20 minute ride.

Would highly suggest this resort to any one (particularly families) who want to get away from it all and not waste time getting there!

We definitely enjoyed the resort

4/54/5 • 14/10/2025

The property is beautiful and meticulously up kept. The people are very friendly, they seem to enjoy working there for the most part (or they are good at faking it). The food is good AND plentiful. There is something to do (or not to do) for everyone. You can be active or just chill out. There is always plenty of seating everywhere, and at so many different locations throughout the resort. You're not fighting for space.

The last time we visited this resort was a few years ago in June, this time we went in September.

Pros - October was still hot, but not AS hot as in June which was made me feel like I would spontaneously combust.

Cons (competed to our June trip)
Water: the swimming/ocean area was very murky and full of seaweed. We couldn't see our hands in the ocean this trip, but in June we could see down to our toes even when the water was up to our chins!
Also, due to the murky conditions snorkeling was not worth it.

Beach: the area was much smaller this time of year (but still plenty for the number of people who were here). The volleyball court was moved over near where the lounge chairs are.

Avocados: we bragged about the giant avocados we had in June, but in October they were regular sized and not nearly as good. I think maybe the fruit wasn't quite as ripe as in June either (although still good). I know it seems silly, it's just that the fruit is something that really stood out for us here.

White Chocolate Bread: although all of their breads are delicious, it was the white chocolate bread that I was dreaming about leading up to this trip. They aren't offering it anymore. So SAD.

Mosquitoes: I don't remember having this issue in June, but maybe I did (it was a few years ago). They were biting me up at night, even with bug spray. Swatting yourself as you're getting bitten and the subsequent scratching does cut in to your relaxed mood, especially after a couple of days in.

Still, we had a great time. The Aguamarina pool is lovely, and the view from the Aguamarina rooms is perfect. We recommend the middle or top floor for the views. We enjoy the little walk to the main area. There weren't as many iguanas out in October, so I felt like I was treasure hunting to see as many as I could.

This time we only stayed 3 nights and it felt a little short. I wouldn't say you need a full week here but 4-5 nights would probably be perfect.

Enjoy!
