• Special thanks to Adi (F&B) and Joe (F&B) for assisting us in making reservation of the above restaurants as the reservation required a local phone number to work. You can approach both of them who are very professional and helpful if you do not have a local number like me.
• The safe environment** where kids could explore freely.
  A charming sales person, Ms Phoebe is whom you can approach at the boutique for well design club med shirts for souvenirs.

The GOs are impeccable, they are the most valuable assets of Club Med Guilin. Credit to NaNa, the reception manager, her professionalism and friendliness made me feel like a home return.

Our 7 years old daughter love the mini-club activities. She managed to catch an ad-hoc show event organized by the mini-club team, what a wonderful show she had been with.

Club Med Guilin was such a gem for us. Came during the low season, so there were not too many people. We had all the facilities and activities available for us almost at whim. Although it was raining throughout our stay there, the activities were aplenty and we did not run out of things to do. Nonetheless, because of the rainy weather, we could not go on excursions due to the high tide at the river (we have been wanting to ride the bamboo raft at the Li River).

Housekeeping was provided twice a day, which makes up for the slightly aged living quarters. However, the rooms were decent and well kept.

Language can be tricky, but the staff did their best to accommodate. For Muslims, do note that halal option is not available. However we opted for non-meat/seafood options which were in abundance. GOs were extremely helpful - warm, friendly and more than happy to help with anything we needed from food requirements to daily activities. The staff even assisted to plan a birthday surprise for my wife - complimentary cake and room decorations - on her birthday. So shoutout to Lai, Appy, Peggy, Loic, Vance, Rachel and the rest of the GOs. You truly made us feel at home!

Bonus: On our last day, the manager Lim offered to pack food for our journey back home, which we felt was an extremely thoughtful gesture.

This is our first Club Med experience and first visit to Guilin. We are impressed by staff professionalism, dining experience and Club Med culture. Will come back or explore other Club Med in future.
