Club Med Coronavirus Update – 3 Feb 2020, 4pm

As a precautionary measure and in line with national epidemic prevention and control, Club Med will temporarily close the following resorts in China from February 8, 2020 – Club Med Beidahu, Club Med Guilin, Club Med Yabuli, Club Med Joyview Anji, Club Med Joyview Golden Coast and Club Med Joyview Yanqing Beijing. Our resorts in Beidahu and Yabuli will close for the rest of the winter season and reopen in November 2020. We are in close contact with health and local authorities on the development of prevention and control actions, and will announce a re-opening date for Guilin, Anji, Golden Coast and Yanqing once they determine it is advisable.

All other Club Med resorts, including Sanya, remain open and operate with additional and strict health precautions. The health and safety of resort guests and staff is our priority. While there are no affected cases in any Club Med resort, our Asia resort teams have stepped up on hygiene & safety measures in line with guidelines issued by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and local sanitary authorities.

  • Temperature check of all guests upon arrival
  • Daily staff body temperature check
  • Frequent sanitization of public areas
  • Usage of gel sanitizers across the resort

As the Coronavirus situation continues to develop, many countries have started imposing travel restrictions on arrivals from China mainland and/or having spent time in China mainland over the past 14 days (duration may vary from country to country). If you have a trip planned in one of our resorts and have spent time in China recently, please check the respective country’s travel restrictions to avoid being denied entry into the country.

Club Med guests to contact 03 2053 1888 - Mon-Sat: 9am - 8pm (including Public Holidays) closed on Sunday or askme.my@clubmedcustomerservice.com - should they have any enquiries.
