“Hokkaido has always been a popular destination especially in Asia Pacific. The opening of Club Med Kiroro Peak is a continuation of our portfolio’s expansion and growth of mountain destinations within the region and across the world,” said Rachael Harding, Chief Executive Officer, East and South Asia & Pacific Markets. “We are excited for our guests to experience this breathtaking resort that offers unconventional and unspoiled highlights of the region—from magnificent views and powder snow slopes to unrivalled natural beauty and local culture. Club Med Kiroro Peak also enhances our destination portfolio, where there is a resort to suit everyone’s ideal vacation.”
Enjoy a moment of zen at the brand’s first-ever traditional Japanese Onsen* filled with 100% natural hot spring water, or choose to be surrounded by the snowy mountainscape and take a relaxing soak in the Rotenburo outdoor hot bathtub or simply indulge in soothing treatments at the Club Med Spa.
An exciting culinary lineup awaits at Club Med Kiroro Peak. The resort will feature three restaurants and one main bar. Otaru, the resort's main restaurant serves a wide variety of international and Japanese delights, The Kaen*, a yakiniku specialty restaurant presents an authentic Japanese barbecue experience featuring premium local Hokkaido and Wagyu beef, and fresh seafood, and The Ogon*, an Asian Fusion specialty restaurant that specialises in Chinese and Thai cuisine paired with fresh, locally sourced ingredients from the region. Perfect to recharge at after a day out on the slopes, The View Bar offers snacks and beverages all day, complemented by the picturesque views of snow-covered peaks, which transforms into a theatre in the evening for nightly live entertainment.
While Club Med Kiroro Peak has a minimum age access of 12-year-old, new programmes and activities are designed for couples and multi-generational families to allow each family member to spend some “me-time”/personal alone and quality time together as a family.
