The Resort

In Kata Bay, south of Bangkok, the Club Med Resort on the island of Phuket stretches out under palm trees caressed by the breeze. Bungalows, built in the style of the local "long-houses" and decorated with teak, silk and marble, exude a Zen spirit in this idyllic garden where you can practise yoga beneath the frangipani trees. A warm and clear sea opens up its underwater depths, filled with colourful fish and abundant flora.

The luxuriant gardens cover 12 hectares, studded with bougainvilleas, hibiscus and imposing trees such as acacia, ficus and many types of palm trees.

The gardens have a number of ornamental ponds and an adjustable lighting system.

Beach

The public beach (no lifeguards) stretches for around 1,300 yards of very fine white sand along magnificent Kata Bay.

There are deckchairs, parasols and showers alongside the beach, in the Club Med area.

Support Children!

Take part in the "Solidarity for Children" action organised by the Club Méditerranée Foundation, by taking baby's milk powder, babies' and children's toiletries (shampoo, toothbrushes, nappies, etc), children's towels and sheets and other accessories to the "Espace Fondation" at the Club Med Resort.
Your contributions will be given to Child-Watch Phuket, an association located around 20 kms (12 miles) from the Resort.
